The chandeliers are by Paco Rabanne.} Today’s fabulous room is the amazing living room (part of a larger studio space) of the visionary Spanish designer, <a href="http://www.lazarorosaviolan.com/">Lázaro Rosa Violán</a> of Barcelona. In keeping with Violán’s design aesthetic, the space is eclectic, filled with vintage finds and striking modern touches. The live/work building was once a cotton factory and now serves as Violán’s home and studio for his design business. As if the amazing architecture weren’t enough, Violán makes the space all the more fabulous with an eclectic mix of furniture and accessories. I love the touches of turquoise and coral as well as the touch of glamour provided by gold accents. <img height="480" src="http://www.nuevo-estilo.es/gente/decorador/violan/1_2g.jpg" style="display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto" width="457" /> {The white leather Chesterfield sofa was designed by Violán and is produced by his company, Contemporain Studio. Right: A Gorgeous Goddess Gown by Wakely in a Stunning Color}  <a href="http://www.coutorture.com/London-Fashion-Week-Amanda-Wakeley-Fall-2010-7515280">Amanda Wakeley’s</a> Fall 2010 collection was among my favorites from London Fashion Week. I love the flowy, metallic fabrics, feminine silhouettes, and minimal color palette. The collection is completely luxurious and glamorous while maintaining a somewhat understated elegant quality. <a href="http://www.amandawakeley.com/">Wakeley’s collection</a> evoked the same feelings in me as the amazing Chicago home of Oprah Producer, Elle Rakieten which was designed by BOTH Nate Berkus and Anne Coyle (she and Elle are BFFs) and is featured in the March issue of <a href="http://www.pointclickhome.com/decoration_inspiration/articles/all_star_makeover?page=0,1">ELLE DECOR</a>. Can you say dream team? Both this gorgeous apartment which is housed in a 1920s Beaux-Arts building and Wakeley’s glamorous collection speak to the modern woman. Raising the Bar

They totally have that <a href="http://piecesinc.com/">Pieces</a> look, don’t they? Fabian is currently working on them in the garage, but once we get the console inside, I am planning to use it as a buffet. I’d like to use part of the space on top for a  little bar set-up and have collected images of chic bars for years. I keep getting deterred from doing a bar post because so many others have done it, but oh well.
