Thank you again for sharing your stories, well-wishes, and prayers for me after Tuesday’s post. I had my surgery yesterday morning and thankfully, everything went quite smoothly. My doctors and nurses were fantastic and my mom and husband have been taking the best care of me ever since. Originally, I was told I had one, 3 mm mobile gallstone since that was all that had shown up on my ultrasound. Yesterday, my surgeon told my family that my gallbladder was actually full of stones, so I am so glad I had it removed. I’m in pain and some discomfort from all of the air they fill you up with for laparoscopic surgery, but other than that I am doing well, I am just very tired and weak. The doctor expressly said “No social media until Monday!”—can you believe it? So, it’s back to bed for me. I just wanted to give you all a quick update. Thank you, friends!
