A truly spectacular coffee table, or any piece of furniture for that matter, blends form and function seamlessly. A coffee table is unique in that it serves a very distinct purpose—to hold drinks, but that initial functional purpose gets marred in its decorative purpose. A coffee table can totally be a focal point in a room (as pictured above) just as it serves to display our prized collections of books, fresh flowers, and decorative objects. I’ve put together a round-up of rooms featuring statement-making coffee tables along with some of my favorite coffee tables of the moment. Which is your favorite?
