This week’s “Fabulous Room” belongs to fellow blogger and friend, Katie Armour. Katie is the stylish, talented mind behind The Neo-Traditionalist and Matchbook Magazine. The August issue offers us a glimpse into Katie’s 500 square foot San Francisco apartment. If you haven’t had a chance to read the issue yet, these photos should certainly whet your appetite. Katie’s chic living room is testament to the fact that her voice and aesthetic are so accurately reflected in Matchbook. Katie is the embodiment of “the Matchbook girl” and her apartment suits her and the magazine’s sensibility to a tee. The look is layered and eclectic, rooted in the traditional with a touch of glamour—leopard pillows, anyone?

{I love Katie’s Lucite coffee table! It’s useful, stylish, and doesn’t take up a lot of visual real estate in the small space. Can you believe it was a Craigslist find?}

{Katie mixes preppy gingham with glamorous, but equally classic leopard. If you look around, her place isn’t filled with trends, but rather classic staples that still feel fresh and current. The fabulous leopard pillows are from my pal, Arianna Belle’s Etsy shop.}

{Few things make me as happy as stacks of beautiful books! I also love seeing how luxe the West Elm Beni Ourain-inspired rug looks in a real space.}

Have a fabulous weekend! I am going to try to relax a little before I head to New York again next week for a video shoot for work along with the New York International Gift Show.
