This summer, I started a new monthly series called "Currently Obsessed" about all of the things that I am currently loving and the things that are happening in my world. Last month was crazy and time got away from me, so I had to skip a month, but with fall in full swing, I have a whole new round of obsessions!  I hope you'll share your October obsessions as well!

Song: I can’t get enough of Wild Cub’s “Thunder Clatter”. It’s such a fun, upbeat song. It makes me smile and dance every time I hear it.
TV Show(s): Sons of Anarchy—I know, it’s probably a departure from what you’d picture me watching, but it is so good! Do you watch it?

Instagrammer: Ok, shameless spousal plug here. My husband, Fabian finally decided to delve into social media. I guess that for the past several years he felt that we had enough social media for the both of us in our house. I convinced him to share his love of classic and exotic cars on Instagram a week ago and he is already hooked and thinking about other social media platforms. If you like chic cars or you have a significant other who’s a car buff, you can follow Fabian @HorsepowerDigest.
Pinterest User: Mrs. de Winter is a Spanish fashion blogger whose pins are the epitome of chic.

Blog: Jenny Komenda’s Little Green Notebook has been a long-time favorite of mine. She is so talented and sweet! While I may have some big ideas, I am not, a DIYer by any means, so I am always in awe of how crafty and handy Jenny is. She makes it all look so easy!

Fashion Muse: Lauren Santo Domingo—Whether she sticks to the classics or takes fashion risks, her style is ultra chic.

Inspiring Designer:  Have you all seen Sara Ruffin Costello’s new website? She’s added some of her recent design work as well as some projects we know and love from when she was at Domino several years ago. Her style is so fresh and effortless. Love it!
 annabel ingall
Bag: I recently got a large Annabel Ingall Tote from A Bientot and I love it. It’s huge, so I can pack it full of fabric swatches, files, paint decks, etc., yet it looks completely chic and polished.
blue
Color: I have been really drawn to deep shades of teal with heavy blue undertones—along the same lines of Farrow & Ball’s Hague Blue. I used this color in a client’s son’s bedroom recently and we all love it!
Inspiring Quote: "You know you’re on the right track when you become uninterested in looking back.” –Unknown
pinot
Drink du Jour: I have probably been indulging in Pinot Noir a little too often recently. At least it’s good for your heart, right?

Guilty Pleasure: This might sound deranged, but work is kind of my guilty pleasure right now. As a designer/blogger/consultant, my job is more than just my career, it’s become my lifestyle. There is no clocking out and it is ingrained in who I am. Sometimes, I can get overwhelmed, but I absolutely LOVE what I do and still wake up excited to do it all over again each morning.
Triumph: I’m honored and thrilled to be speaking at Design Camp tomorrow as well as being part of a social media panel at the Houston Decorative Center’s opening day of Fall Market next Wednesday. It was also pretty cool to be named one of the Top 10 Interior Designers to Follow on Pinterest!

Trips being Planned: I don’t have any upcoming trips planned as of now, but I am currently in Orange County for Design Camp and will be heading to L.A. tomorrow to spend the weekend with my wonderful friend, Mark Sikes. We have so much fun together and he inspires me in so many ways, so I am really excited to spend some quality time with him.
