{The library by Lindsay Coral Harper features a California Sunburst Chandelier by Tony Duquette, a pair of vintage Milo Baughman chairs upholstered in Kravet fabric, and a “Madagascar” carpet by Doris Leslie Blau which served as the inspiration for the space.}

This year’s Cathedral Antiques Showhouse in Atlanta has once again proven that when it comes to showhouses, Atlanta knows how to do it right! This southern city has such a wealth of designer talent and anytime Clinton Smith of Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles is involved, you just know the results will be chic and inspiring as he is able to cull the best designer talent in his region and is an amazing editor. It goes without saying that I love the images from this year’s Cathedral Antiques Showhouse and this stunning library by Lindsey Coral Harper gets my top honors. I love the use of rich, saturated colors as well as the fact that she wasn’t afraid to go really bold with her choice of fabrics, lighting, and art. She delivered a library that is unexpected and completely inspiring.

{Lindsey had the entire room painted in Benjamin Moore’s “Mulberry”. She wanted a jewel-toned, glossy room from top to bottom and I’d say she certainly achieved what she set out to create. The Rorschach style paintings are by Jay C. Lohmann.}

{I love the way Lindsey styled the entire space. There is a “Boho Luxe” meets “Polished Preppy” look that I just adore.}

Does this space speak to your design aesthetic? Do you like the “go bold or go home” approach?
