Today, I am grateful to know that my friends and loved ones in New York and on the East Coast made it through Sandy relatively unscathed aside from a few inconveniences. Unfortunately, thousands of other people were not so lucky and have been devastated by Sandy. My heart goes out to those dealing with the disastrous aftermath of this monstrous storm.
