Over the holidays, a good friend of mine told me about a fabulous vacation house she and her family had rented in Lake Tahoe. Intrigued, I visited the site she used to secure her rental, VRBO.com, and found homes that range from luxurious and over the top to chic and cozy like this charming bungalow in West Hollywood. Do you ever opt to stay in a vacation rental as opposed to a traditional hotel?

{The outdoor pool area is just as charming as the inside of the house. I love the striped curtains and awning as well as the cool, modern wicker lounge chairs and spun fiberglass bar.}
