As much as I love a fabulous hotel, there is something so wonderful about staying someplace that feels a little more like home. More and more, there seems to be a hybrid of bed and breakfasts meet boutique hotels sprouting up. The emphasis is usually on providing personalized, attentive service in a stylish and comfortable environment. With spring finally upon us and summer just over the horizon, some of you may be dreaming about where to stay in the coming months. I’ve only ever been to The Hamptons for a video shoot last August, but when I go back, I would love to stay at the gorgeous, Goop-endorsed Inn at Windmill Lane in Amagansett. I love that the architecture and interiors reflect the chic signature Hamptons style we’ve come to love. The whole property looks so cozy and stylish!

I am not going to the Hamptons anytime soon, but I am THRILLED to be heading to Los Angeles today for a week of R & R with my hubby! Be sure to follow LDV on Instagram for some peeks into my vacation. I can’t wait to visit my favorite haunts, gather some design inspiration, and enjoy all of the things I love about LA. See you soon!
